Tasting Notes:
Nikka From The Barrel is a powerful Japanese blended whisky combining malt and grain whiskies, including whisky from Nikka’s Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. After blending, the whisky is returned to casks for several months of “marriage,” allowing the different components to harmonize. The nose shows rich oak, vanilla, chocolate, orange peel, malt, apricot, and spice. The palate is thick and full-bodied, with caramelized apple, ripe peach, pepper, oak, and floral notes, leading to a long finish of vanilla, ripe fruit, and gentle bitterness.

Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy neat, over ice, with a few drops of water, or in a highball. Its 51.4% ABV gives it enough intensity to stand up beautifully in whisky-forward cocktails.
