From the sun-soaked slopes of the Rhône Valley, Cuvée Plan Plan is a joyfully unpretentious red from Maison Plantevin—a wine as approachable and generous as its name implies. “Plan Plan” is French slang for someone who’s easy-going, laid-back, or just... cool. It’s also how this wine drinks: full of ripe charm, warmth, and a whole lot of soul.

Made with 75% hand-harvested Syrah, fermented on native yeasts and aged in stainless steel without added sulfur, this is a natural wine with a pure expression of Rhône terroir. Macerated gently with pump-overs and free-run juice, it’s both layered and lively.

In the glass, it pours deep garnet, releasing aromas of blackberry compote, dark cherry, and crushed plum, touched by notes of gentle spice and earth. The palate is rounded and supple, with soft tannins and a plush wave of black fruits, clove, and wild herbs, gliding to a generous, warming finish.

Ideal with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, charcuterie, or just a sunset and a good playlist. Bonus points for the label, drawn by co-owner Laurent’s five-year-old son—a bottle that wears its heart on its sleeve and its roots in every sip.
