Alexander Valley, Sonoma, California | 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot | 14.2% ABV

From the storied hillsides of Alexander Valley, where ancient oaks still watch over sun-drenched vineyards, Geyser Peak presents its 16th vintage of Walking Tree—a bold yet balanced expression of North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon that honors both place and persistence. The name pays tribute to a legendary oak tree that, during heavy rains, slowly descended a steep vineyard slope—upright and very much alive.

Sourced from two distinct vineyard sites, each with unique soils, slopes, and exposures, the fruit was vinified separately and then aged for 20 months in French oak barrels before blending. The result is a wine of layered depth and clarity.

In the glass, it glows deep garnet with amethyst reflections. Aromas of dark berries, ripe raspberry, and flint rise from the glass, leading to a bright, structured palate marked by vibrant acidity and supple complexity. The Petit Verdot—just 3%—adds dimension and roundness, enriching the wine’s mouthfeel without overshadowing the purity of the Cabernet. Silky tannins guide a long, persistent finish that hums with dark fruit and elegant minerality.

Pair it with grilled ribeye, herb-crusted lamb, roasted mushrooms, or aged cheddar—or simply sip slowly and reflect. This is Cabernet with poise and power, rooted in history and alive with character.
