Winemaker Amy Farnsworth includes quality time with the vines as part of her winemaking process, and we’re sure that’s why her cuvées turn out so ethereally. This skin contact Pinot Gris grows in a cooler area of Hawke’s Bay which gives the wine a bright quality and balanced acid. With about a month on skins, that crispness is balanced with deeper flavors of very ripe orchard fruit, ginger and a bit of baking spice. This orange wine will be a perfect transition from late summer to fall. Pair with root vegetables and pork.
