Gönc Starman is a distinctive Slovenian orange wine made from equal parts Chardonnay and Riesling. The white grapes undergo skin maceration, giving the wine its characteristic amber-orange color, added texture, and gentle tannic grip. Expect expressive notes of citrus, tropical fruit, floral Riesling aromas, savory minerality, and subtle earthy character. The palate is dry, textured, and refreshing, with a distinctive finish. The wine is made without filtration and without added SO₂.
