At the southern base of the Jura Mountains lies the little region of Bugey. Wines from the Eastern regions of France are generally characterized by their crisp minerality, and this silky Chardonnay fits in. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with ten months of lees contact leaving a soft textured mouthfeel with all the bright minerality we love from alpine style whites. Flavors of Meyer lemon, mango, yellow apple and a minerality like the chalkiness of Chablis. Pair with semi hard cheese like comté and saucisson or Coq au vin.
