Miyami Nishiki rice
This clean, dry, refined sake comes from the snowy Niigata region. It gets its name from the myth of a friendly yeti who helps travelers carry their packs across the icy terrain. Clear minerality is distinct to sakes of this region imparted by fresh spring streams of melting snow. Light aroma of wood and wax hit the nose when sipping. Enjoy chilled, room temperature or warm. The producer donates part of the proceeds of this bottle to Japanese mountain rescue.
