Wakatake Onikoroshi Demon Slayer
The historical Wakatake brewery established in 1832 sits just miles from where the Ohi River breaks in to the Pacific Ocean. Nestled in to the base of the Japanese Alps, Wakatake’s sakes are known for their crisp mineral characteristics. This junmai ginjo style sake is a slightly off dry fruit bomb with notes of watermelon, purple grape, ripe Bartlett pear and blueberries. This sake is recommended slightly warm or chilled to keep the fruity flavors crisp and not overpowering. A likeness to Pinot Noir makes this sake great with beef dishes like a spicy Chashu ramen.
