This beauty comes from just 1 hectare of 60+ year old bush trained Xarel-lo. Established in 1405 caretakers of these vines have always focused on indigenous varietals. Under young maker Ignasi Seguí’s care, minimalist values are carried out in biodynamically farmed vineyards. Grapes for this cuvée spend just four days on skins to encourage tropical fruit flavors of lychee and papaya. Coastal influence is apparent through notes of saline and very ripe cantaloupe. Four months in stainless steel with no lees stirring. Try with a Catalan traditional of blackened tomatoes and eggplant or spicy prawns.
