The Penedès enjoys a healthy reputation for its white wines and Cava, but reds from this region are also notable for their minerality and structure. Cabernet Sauvignon has been growing in Catalonia since the mid 20th century when it was brought from France by Miguel Torres. Deep red in the glass with rich flavors of ripe cherry, cassis, black pepper and balsamic.
