Subject to Change is a wine project out of Oakland focusing on natural and offbeat wines that are both fun and fascinating. Fruit for this cuvée comes from Coastview Vineyard—a 2,400 feet elevation site in the Gabilan Mountains. Grapes are foot crushed whole cluster and fermented in neutral barrels. After 8 months with lees contact, the wine is racked off to steel before bottling. Flint, citrus, salt and orchard fruit flavors. A first course bottle for charcuterie or leafy salads.
