Petite Sirah is essentially the grape of California, since it hasn’t really been grown elsewhere. This wine is luscious, juicy and full of life. It is big, tannic, ripe, juicy and “grapey”. If anyone is silly enough to not drink it now and lets it get old they will find that it ages wonderfully, developing richness and complexity. This bottle wants a stew or a steak.
