Tejo, Portugal T
ouriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Aragonez, & Cabernet Sauvignon
Fifty miles north of Lisbon lies the estate of Casa Cadaval. The Alvares Pereira de Melo family has been running the estate since 1648, and it’s still run by the family. The estate was the first place to breed Lusitano horses, and still doing so today. This is a full bodied, rich, fruit forward blend. Full of black cherry, plums and hints of oak. A great bottle to pair with grilled foods or just by itself.
