Montinore are Willamette legends – they’ve been making Pinot in Oregon since the ‘80s, and are now certified biodynamic by the exacting Demeter organization. Their entry-level “Red Cap” bottling is a complex, earthy wine, with a body as full as any Pinot can be. 2016 was a warm year, and the fruit here is ripe and concentrated, supported by just a touch of new oak. Pair with salmon, roast chicken, or root veggies.
