Casa E. Di Mirafiore is a beautiful estate practicing traditional Piedmontese winemaking practices to make the perfect nostalgic Barolo. Nebbiolo grapes, coddled in the vineyard, spend up to 50 days with their skins to allowing the resulting juice to extract every bit of deep, luscious flavor. Aging in oak casks soften tannins to silk. Flavors of deep plum and black cherry are complimented by classic bites of tar, tobacco and leather. Pair with duck, sweetbreads or Portobello mushrooms.
