The Tommasi family has been making wines in the ancient winemaking region of Manduria at Masseria Surani since its establishment in 2004. The winemakers give partial treatment to varietals native to the area like Fiano. This bright, medium bodied grape benefits from iron rich soils that support its natural aromatic and balance its floral qualities. White flowers on the nose, with flavors of citrus and tropical fruit and a distinct woodsy finish. This wine benefits from rich pairings. Try it with a sausage and fennel gnocchi.
