75% Syrah, 25% Sauvignon Blanc
Winemakers Cara and Aaron Mockrish are students of natural wine legend Gideon Beinstock; well made but wild wine seems to be consistent throughout their cuvées. This rosé was made by blending direct press Syrah with foot stomped skin contact Sauvignon Blanc. It spends 8 months in barrel which softens its texture and pushes the fruit forward while preserving freshness. This is a great solo bottle to split with on the fire escape.
