Francois Crochet les Perrios Blanc
Sancerre, Loire Valley, France
100% Sauvignon Blanc
Robert and Marie Solange-Crochet are descended from two families with long associations with Bué, a village 4km from the town of Sancerre, with a long-standing reputation for producing some of the appellation's best wines. François Crochet is their son and he took over the estate in 1988. This is a delicious example of Sancerre! The juice spends 6 months on the lees so it’s a bit textural, yet super expressive with ripe fruit and linear minerality. You owe this to yourself.
