Winemaker Joan Franquet is the mastermind behind the adored Costador Metamorphika project. All vines are indigenous Catalan varietals grown at high altitudes. This wine of Trepat is from 60 year old vines growing across a whopping 1 hectare. Grapes are de-stemmed and ferment in clay amphorae. Trepat naturally produces a structured, medium bodied wine with flavors of red berries, stone and chocolate. Pair with a tri tip steak at the main course or pair it with a cherry pie for dessert.
