Aperitif, A bitter-sweet (sweet with a bitter backbone) aperitif made with a blend of herbs and spices including bitter orange peel. This “secret blend” is added to the white wine base which is then steeped over time. On the nose you initially detect notes of orange zest, orange flower and elderflower before more mature aromas of baked apple and pear drops emerge.
