60% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Syrah
Similar to a Côtes-du-Rhône, but lighter and smokier. Domaine du Chapitre make pure fermented grape juice, with nothing added except a small amount of SO2 to stabilize the wine at bottling. They age their wine in cement – no oak here! This is honest French table wine, and will pair with all sorts of light meat and fish dishes, especially game. Delicious by itself, too.
