Celler Sanromá "125" 2018
Situated in the ancient village of Vil-Rodona is Celler Sanromá where Eduard Sanroma Calaf is the youngest wine maker in the area. This area is characterized by its hot, dry climate that produces low yields and vibrant, concentrated flavors. This Tempranillo shows an intriguing balance of earth and fruit; mushroom on the nose, prune and blackberry on the palate and an earthy finish and some cedar. With a fair amount of acid, this is an excellent food wine recommended for smoked meats.
