Carlton Cellars Auxerrois 2018 Willamette Valley, Oregon 100% Auxerrois Auxerrois is a French grape; it is most commonly grown in Alsace, but a few Oregon producers have picked it up. It's similar to Chardonnay, but a bit lighter, with hints of citrus and balanced minerality. Low in acid, but well-structured nonetheless, this is a wonderful example of what New World producers are doing with lesser-known varietals.
