Bodega Marichal Sauvignon Blanc
100% Sauvignon Blanc
The Marichal family first immigrated from the Canary Islands and Italy in the 1910’s and purchased Tannat vines in Canelones, which remains the most popular varietal in Uruguay. Juan and Alejandro are in charge of the vineyard today and are both academic professionals in Oenology and Viticulture. This dry, crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect introduction to Uruguay wines where the climate is similar to that of the Mediterranean. The palate zippy with flavors of lime and white flowers. Pair with cappelletti a la Caruso.
