Black Estate Damsteep Dry Riesling 2017

Black Estate is located northeast of Waipara Valley on the South Island of New Zealand. This Riesling is from 2 hectares of organic and biodynamic vines of 22 years. Grapes are foot crushed and spend about half a day on their skins. The wine spends 9 months with the lees resulting in an opalescent mouthfeel with flavors of stone, orange blossom and pear. Excellent with spicy pork buns or smoked fish.
