This classic Rioja is produced by Fmilia Torres, a company whose outreach expands beyond their winemaking properties and into social action as well. The Torres Foundation funds projects that build educational centers and foster homes for children in several countries. Fruit for this bottle comes from 85 year old Tempranillo vines and spends one year in oak and one year in bottle before release. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, black peppercorn, plum and toasted bread. Pair with pork, mild peppers and hard cheese.
