It’s really difficult not to fall in love with this bottle. Sémillon is a strong but graceful varietal, capable of withstanding varying climates and disease. This dry expression is decidedly mineral and crisp with notes of saline and yellow fruit. Constant lees stirring and old oak gives this wine a plus, medium body and long finish. This can be a celebratory wine, but will also pair perfectly with a spicy fish curry and garlic naan.
