Templeton Rye

When Prohibition went into effect in 1920, the residents of Templeton, Iowa decided to distill a much sought after whiskey to supplement their income. Later on, it became a staple of Midwestern speakeasies. On the nose are hints of mint and pine and on the palate are notes of butterscotch and allspice with a smooth finish.
