Château de Trinquevedel Tavel Rosé 2020
Tavel France
57% Grenache, 11% Cinsault, 15% Clairette, 12% Syrah, 5%
Mourvèdre Trinquevedel is a famous estate in the infamous rosé appellation of Tavel, beloved by King Louis XIV. Tavel lies next to the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which speaks to its obvious quality. This gorgeous rosé is pretty full bodied for a pink wine, with a nose full of red berries, cassis, and cherry pit. It is fresh, yet quite rich, offering spicy raspberry and dark berry flavors. It’s delicious with salmon, asparagus, or skirt steak on the barbeque.
