Julian has been working naturally in his vineyards since 2006. This natural expression of Tempranillo, or Cencibel as it is intimately called, gives us ripe red berries and dusty minerality. The fruit spends 2 months in stainless steel, experiencing spontaneous yeast and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in on site produced amphora. No fining, filtering and just the teensiest smidge of sulfer. Try this if you love Rioja and want to try a low intervention wine. Can be enjoyed solo or with chorizo and manchego.
