Winemaker Filippo Cassano’s vines grow on the highest elevation point in Puglia in Gioia del Colle. We normally know Primitivo as a full and rich red wine for chilly times, but this Primitivo from young vines and fermented in stainless steel is one of those new school surprises we adore. Bright flavors of raspberry and blackberry with notes of minerality and a dry finish. A pop of acid in the midpalate makes this a perfect summer dinner wine.
