From one of the most innovative Californian vineyards comes to us a Châteauneuf-du-Pape style blend with fresh, West Coast vibrancy. The name “Oumuamua” means scout in Hawaiian, so I am going to assume that the name is loosely inspired by innovation. With flavors of pomegranate, blackberry, anise and a hint of mint on the finish, this makes a great pairing for rack of lamb, Morrocan chicken tagine, or ratatouille.
